B-b-but #TaxCutsForTheRich will fix that, RIGHT? Corporations that...my bad, corporations WHO have been sitting on cash & buying back stock will obviously be inspired by MORE money to hire lotsa new humans (& old problems). At higher wages, too. Business is big-hearted like that.

Well if that doesn’t warrant an enormous tax break then I don’t know what does.

Less liability, less money spent, less giving a sh*t about people, more automation, more hoarding profits. Been trending that way for decades but the tax cut will save all that right? 🤔

More to come with A.I.......so many in this country with little to no skills; government payrolls will explode if this isnt figured out.

And my theory is that reducing the corp tax rate will expedite automation. Massively more money to designate towards R & D is likely bad for hourly workers.

Agree, but as a country, we should work together to help these people "re-tool" for jobs in demand. Not easy, but not sure there is another way. Plus, what is the plan for illegal immigrants coming with little to no skills? This is going to be a huge issue.

Absolutely. Lying to coal towns like our president did was cruel and manipulative. Gave them false hope instead of a real solution. As far as immigrants with 'no skill', I think that's bogus as-in they certainly do have useful skills of multiple varieties.

Yes many, many immigrants do. I am asking about illegal immigrants coming in with little to no skills. There is a high % of them coming vs legal highly educated skilled workers. Counrty will need to deal with this

Illegal immigration is at a net zero. It's realistically not massive issue. We're not as landlocked as most of Europe is. It's a relatively minor issue.
