WiiU was literally the most terrible system they released. The switch finally gets the idea right by not completely relying on a gimmick, at least.

The Wii u wasn't a terrible system. It was just the marketing and name for it. If they had release it during the ps3/360 era it would've been amazing.

what pisses me off is they will not make the new games for the switch for the wiiU forcing people who want to play new games on the switch

Well that's understandable But they're moving on from it I think they already stopped production for the Wii u. The switch launch was a success so they're putting all their focus on it With some new 3ds games since the 3ds is still selling a lot.

my 12 year old agrees with you...I am getting to old for this I just don't have the money to keep buying new systems all the time and it makes me sad I can't buy my son one for the new games.

This is the kind of shit that happens when you refuse to use existing technology that's available AND more affordable than a custom solution...

Question is now: will developers/publishers use them or cheap out by using 16GB cards and forcing us to download half a game we choose to buy physically?

I am wondering this myself, the whole purpose I buy physical is so that i don't have to download games onto my sd card.

Most companies aren’t even using the 32GB cards. They’re putting half on a card or less even sometimes & requiring the rest to be downloaded.

Well if you buy physical Switch games you dont have to install everything like with X1, PS4, and PC. Only a handful of physical games have mandatory installs on Switch.
