Being an Indian living in states, I support ‘Americans shud get jobs first’, But plz comment if you know any highly skilled American who is Unemployed. There are more than 53000 vacant positions in software firms only. Why dont anyone talk abt fixing soaring prices for education

If we’re not going to let smart people in we better start educating the people we have. You can’t have it both ways - defund education and hinder the educated

I have no opinion about the subject but the question that comes to my mind is "where is the meritocracy America, the free land of Oportunities for the hard workers?" Is it a thing of the past?

With our educational system in the shitter, where do they expect to find people for these jobs? And I’m sure that “low skill” workers will still be made welcome to come work at Trump properties.

A trump supporter also told me that he believes education isn’t a right in America so it seems they don’t want anybody educated

Meanwhile they make it more costly for Americans to get an education. The erosion of society by the GOP continues.

You could also end that sentence with, to work in the U.S. for peanuts living 10 to a house in inflated housing areas like Silicon Valley.

I know many, especially recent graduates, that due to foreign workers and competitive markets who struggle to find even entry level positions despite being well qualified. Eliminating competition from foreign workers improved the chances of US workers.

To say we don't have qualified candidates for these jobs is propaganda. We have all the tech geniuses here but companies want to keep wages down. The margins don't lie.
