Your 401K has been growing due to a stable economy and global market that has been on the rise for 7 years. Trump removed the regs which created that stability. By next year, we will be losing in our 401K’s and republicans will be trying to tear apart S.S., Medicaid and Medicare.

Banks are businesses who value their shareholders over any perceived “social contract”. Businesses don’t care about you! They go where the money is.

Doesn't sound right. Shouldn't the headline be stating the opposite based on record breaking market numbers during the Trump administration?

Good. The lending means they own you. Like how people here in Washington State pay Australia for our own resources. PSE

#Banks across the world are breaking their social contract with rural people, in pursuit of their #greed based agenda ... service is a word they don't understand. As banks turn their back on people, people need to turn their back on banks, and their shiny towers of corruption.

Businesses do not have a social contract with people but governments do. Rural areas need better political advocacy and more innovative thinking.

Heidi, where a system is underwritten by #Government, as #Banks, especially 'too big to fail banks', and the corrupted banking/wall street system are, then they HAVE a social contract.

Banks are in business for profit not charitable and social causes. If communities have a problem with the way banks do business they should elect politicians who will stop bending over backwards to accommodate bankers.

This is the side effect of Global Banking, banks don't need small communities anymore. You want a loan then you will drive to the big city to get one. Credit Unions should step in.
