Isn’t that exactly what @SenSanders and @SenWarren said they wanted- higher taxes on rich ppl? Lower on middle class? They should be LOVING this tax plan, not hating it.

They are hurt by high state and local taxes. Their fed tax rate is cut and makes transparent their state & local taxes. Hopefully people are smart enough to know the difference and will vote differently in their state elections

No one can control real estate prices. A 1 bedroom in SF is $1m. If you put 15% down, you have an $850k mortgage. Already over the $750k limit.

Then vote for people in your city who will reduce your property& local tax and different state representatives who will reduce state taxes in CA.

We do. But we are in the minority. Democrats win in NY, even in Nassau County LI, for years. Once a Republican stronghold, it’s changed dramatically. Now it’s all Democrat Voters. And Democrats Raise Taxes, and waste everyone’s money.

GOP did NOT raise taxes in CA, NJ, and NY. These states are Democrat run states high state & local taxes. Fed taxes were cut for everyone in all states. Don’t confuse fed tax with state & local taxes

Wait, I thought that when the Dems said people wil die due to the tax bill they meant poor inconsequential people not my fellow 1%ers! This changes everything.

The article seem to say it was people over 500,000 would be hit the hardest. Not sure that qualifies as high middle class

And so will Californians who can afford $750,000 homes according to Sen Feinstein. No wonder these Democrat leaning areas are opposed to this bill.
