It's a tax cut for corporations. So individuals that are high ranking in corporations will see the largest benefits

You clearly aren’t familiar with corporate pay structures. Do some research

I'm very familiar. This gives tax cuts to corporations, not the working class. You think they'll spend money on raises when instead they can increase share value through buybacks or dividend, pay off debt, increase CAPEX spending, etc?

Have you seen the number of corporations that announced bonuses to employees just today?

~5 out of the millions of corporations in the US. Is that significant? I'm happy for those employees but that's anecdotal evidence of what's to come at best. Why are you defending employers over employees (US citizens)?

Of course. Republicans hate people who study hard and then work hard for a living. Those losers should inherit, like good republicans.

I’m not being antagonistic. Genuinely want to know why you think attorneys should only make 100K a year. All businesspeople? Or just attorneys?

A judge (lawyer. Unfortunately) will put you away for life. Free food, roof, and healthcare. A doctor will save your life, without judging you. I defer to Dr.

Well, I’m not comparing the two professions. I do believe doctors should be honored with benefits and appreciation for the work they do. However, lawyers that make over 100K are being compensated for the services they provide....if someone is willing to pay them that much, I

Don’t see how the government can decide they can’t keep over 100K. The law may be “absolute” (for argument’s sake), but knowledge of the law is not. The average person doesn’t know enough about personal injury law to sue a company if their driver critically injures them.

These lawyers get the injured party compensated and the doctors compensated because they’re trained in personal injury law. Same with worker’s compensation, contracts, divorce and custody, etc. Billable hours aren’t typically milked. I thought the same thing before I

Lots of references to post 2025 taxes in here, when dems regain control at some point in the next eight years they will surely keep taxes low on middle American right
