Sign of a bubble? Bitcoin record highs don’t help either. Might as well be a serialized collection of pet rocks

Seems like a good argument against lowering the corporate tax rate.

This may be the first time in the history of the Democratic Party that no one Democrat voted to lower taxes on the middle class. They may have misplayed this opportunity

Probably because it doesn't lower taxes on the middle class.

Well it does here in PA. So I think it will vary based on where you live, if you live in high tax states you didn’t vote for a Republican anyway, so the Rs could gain big in other states

?? What are you talking about? It doesnt matter what state you live in. The middle class tax cuts are a) not for everyone and b) expire.

Sure it matters. My standard deduction just doubled and that huge for me since I don’t itemize

But most middle class families do itemize. If you have a mortgage you used to be able to write off all the mortgage interest. Not any more. State and local taxes same thing. They're now capped. Also most of the cuts you get will be phased out in a few years. Not permanent

Also the only ones really hurt by the SALT deal are those in high tax states which didn’t vote for Rs anyway. So these folks will have to force their state officials to lower SALT taxes since the subsidies from other states is now gone
