Terrible! We continue to fund police & corrections; Our Drug War has failed & created an epidemic. TREATMENT > PERSECUTION Enforcing police will not dismantle our opiate epidemic. The only way to cure a disease is with MEDICINE & TREATMENT. The War on Drugs has failed. #evolve

REALLY? Maybe they should go right to the criminal pushers themselves: BIG FAT PHARMA companies.

I truly am glad you came out the other side in good shape, but if you think you've cornered the market on life experience, then you my friend are the ignorant and clueless one.

And where did I say that id cornered the market on life experience? I commented specifically on something that's very personal and has had a huge effect on my life and nothing else to someone who thinks arresting ppl for addiction is long past due

I was not advocating arresting the addicted, but the "pushers" who sell it, and who by doing that kill the people who use. The people addicted I would offer free treatment to help them kick the habit.

What your missing is that rarely is it some "pusher"....most opiate addicts buy from other opiate addicts...yes at some level there is someone pushing it onto the streets who isn't addicted, but for everyone 1 u arrest, ur gonna arrest 50 others who r just addicts
