If the issue is “being free” we should realise we are not free in the West, first of all.

Are you saying you are not free in the West, just like PRC Chinese/N. Korean/ISIS Arabian ? Really? You people in the West don't have basic freedom, human rights, rule of law? or, you just can't tell the difference between a 'freeman' and a prisoner?

You act like this is new. China is a communist country, they are not going to change their culture for the United States lol. If anything, we are becoming more like them.

This explains your sudden urge for Chinese food all the time? 😂

@WSJ stating the obvious again. Here are three reasons why they will never be like us, reasons we have known since day 1: 1. They are communist 2. They are communist 3. They are communist Carry on.

Nobody can claim they didn't know this, it was so blatantly obvious right from the 80s. West deliberately ignored it because they were seduced by huge markets they could sell into and they did but in typical west fashion maximize for the short term over the long term.

China has been able to find a near perfect balance between totalitarian and capitalist rule, and has profited enormously from it. Let's not delude ourselves though. They are nowhere near being free.

No one asked China to be more like the US. They are a communist country. We have antifa people in the US who want communism. Maybe they should head for China?
