This is no big deal. I went to Germany years ago when my husband was given a work permit at the request of his company. My passport was stamped "no work permit allowed". It's not an unreasonable requirement.

It's only an unreasonable requirement if it comes from Trump. Americans do not realize that other countries are not like ours in this regard. I've seen this spouse scam up close (I'm in IT) for years.

I blame media for not looking at these policy changes with an open mind and presenting both sides to the public. If Trump administration is for it they are against it. Like Net Neutrality. Only two years old, but you'd think there was no internet before these rules were imposed.

Why would you prevent people who are in the country legally from working? What sense does this make, like, at all? This is not bipartisan or centrist, it seems cruel and xenophobic.

Wow!!! That’s what we need, more qualified and willing workers UNABLE to work. #Taxreform will create jobs we’re unable to fill!! This is a business, economic and societal issue - not a limp divisive political statement

Why would You take away ability to work and contribute for those who are here legally. Yet you fight for DAPA and DACA for illegal immigrants. And don't give a damn about legal ones. Good times eh?!

This seems a little silly; the u.s. has essentially full employment and it’s turning away workers.

Great, it will be harder to attract talent. I expect some companies to move operations offshore.
