If Trump can't get his candidate elected in the deep-red South, how will he get Republicans to follow himhttp://on.wsj.com/2Cb9a5a

The reason he lost is the same reason Hillary lost....bad candidate. He’s been an embarrassment to Alabama for a long time

Anyone who thinks that damaged-Roy#Moore losing this election is a reflection of the status of the #MAGA movement, they are very wrong. Moore was an infectious disease that no one wanted to be in contact with.

WSJ don’t make too much of this election. Trump did not think Moore could win and he was right. Moore was not a good candidate before the allegations and if Jones does not reach across the isle he will not be re-elected.

@ least the red state with just unproven allegations didn’t vote 🗳 for Moore but what about the blue states w all the known facts of corruption, lies & criminal activity by HRC and they still voted for her California, NY, Illinois etc... Shows Dems will only vote for agendapic.twitter.com/ac2Pux6QQL

I'd say I hope Moore responds to the loss with the same dignity and grace as Hillary and her supporters did last year but, well, you know.

You know very well why he lost, and it wasn't because of Trump....and I'm surprised the race was so tight. With those accusations, it should have been a slam dunk.

Nothing can compete with a few lying old crones and a few bus loads of felons , illegals, dead Democrats and bribed welfare recipients. We still reject the Democrats and their corrupt agenda.

Let's be careful here. I'm not so sure the tide has turned. Mr. Moore was an inappropriate candidate. In much the way the GOP said the Dems brought loss on themselves by selecting Mrs. Clinton, the GOP continued to support someone who should not have warranted their support.
