Italy is poor, bad example. France, Germany and Canada are capitalists countries. Japan became what it is because of capitalism. It just has a lot of social programs. A few social programs does not a socialist make.

Just because you don't understand that there is market socialism and non-market socialism doesn't make those countries socialist. The Party of European Socialist is actually a major European party. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Party_of_European_Socialists&ved=0ahUKEwil3NuanYDYAhWC7BQKHbOFAxoQFgh5MAs&usg=AOvVaw1sNzJNGC2qnBUmoIOS_sEI …

this european “socialism”’s only achievement so far appears to be the rolling of gargantuan amounts of debt for their hilarious spending, which directly benefits US capitalism, as the dollar gets stronger

But everybody thinks USA will always pay. Europe, on the other hand, Or 50% of it is run like some kind of banana republic where the only (more or less) responsible member is routinely forced to “save” the others at the brink of default (spain, greece, and more to come)

Capitalism hasn't put its best foot forward with young people. Growth and opportunity have been skewed to capital owners while wages have stagnated. Health costs are high. Rent is high. Can feel like being exploited by groups that got wealthy before, and lock out others

Not at all. Bailouts to banks, interest rate gaming, and tax cuts used for share buybacks affect how I vote.

Bank bailouts were paid back in full with interest. Any illegal interest rate gaming, well is illegal. So not sure how that affects voting...tax cuts may or may not be used for buybacks, but that appreciates shareholder wealth, and likely 401ks and 403bs.
