        There is no conspiracy keeping women out of tech. There are very few women majoring in STEM. Computer Engineering classes at major schools only have like 10-20% female enrollment. Is the tech industry supposed to hire unqualified candidates just to keep gender equality numbers?

        ...in this period that work was considered "woman's work" and not favored by men as the economy was still dominated by heavy industries in which the key input to the productive process was raw materials and labor which was always seen as the male domain.
