@malas_n Same in CT, we’ve been abandoned and punished for living in a blue state, and where are reps, like @jahimes, silent!

She sure does. Because she’s voting AGAINST THE BEST INTERESTS OF HER CONSTITUENTS. OUT SHE GOES .

The GOP will have an interesting time explaining to their constituents that what mattered on the tax reform bill was being able to claim a win, making their wealthy donors happy and giving tax breaks to the very wealthy. Regular voters may be angry when told they don’t matter.

If you mean wealthier constituents, they’re angry about the GOP ploy of raising taxes that mostly hit blue states because they have high state and local taxes so they get hit harder than those in red states. I assume there are middle class and working class who are also hurt.

Good for her. It's California lawmakers that tax us to death Check out the non existent bullet train we've been paying on for years and our gas tax . Crumbling infrastructure Should others pay for their mistakes Monies sent to non citizens while we have so many homeless.

You do realize the bullet train was voted on by the people of the state, right? I was absolutely shocked it passed.

A “representative” is supposed to be just that and the Republicans have betrayed their constituencies nationally.

So members of Congress should vote based on helping their constituents first and foremost and vote based on large donors wishes last. Glad she is learning about her job

Instead of complaining to GOP Rep. Mimi Walters they should demanding their State Reps lower the State taxes. It’s the Democratic stranglehold on taxes payers that’s killing the middle class in California. Tax and spend liberals need to be reigned in.
