So, I never thought the privilege worked that way -- father/son unless son is father's lawyer. Not like spousal privilege. Surely it is not privilege with Russian attorney. What am I missing (OK -- it's 4:15 a.m est).

What shocked me was that Congress just let Jr. do this. They didn’t nail his butt to the wall. Why not?

One would assume there would be enough government lawyers to sink a ship at these hearings and that they could quickly verify that attorney/client privilege was invalid. They may bring him back and compel him to answer the question.

Trump Jr. is NOT an attorney, so his invoking attorney-client privilege is total BULLSHIT! Why didn’t the panel nail his butt to the wall? @RepAdamSchiff, don’t let DonaldJTrumpJr pull this crap!

He could have said “I don’t recall” like Hillary and her cohorts have hundreds of times. Of course, that was right before she wrote her memoirs and made a fortune, because her memory must’ve come back.
