Are you serious? I still have so many of my stuffed animals from when I was a child. It's a sense of comfort and pride for me. Yes, I might not notice a few missing, but this just seems wrong. Each one has a little story, and a lot have names.

Also, why not involve your child in a declutter? Explain to them that there are lots of sad little kids who don't have any toys and it's nice to give away the old ones to make someone else happy. Turn it into a Christmas tradition.
