The new tax cut comes with the unemployment rate hovering at just 4.1%. That sets the stage for higher wageshttp://on.wsj.com/2AvX8CP

There isn't, not has there ever been, a correlation between corporate tax cuts and higher wages. Conflating the two is intellectually dishonest. Or just plain dishonest, period.

Yeah right - everybody gets a nickel an hour raise. That will comfort me a lot when my SS and Medicare is cut

😂😂😂😂 I’m not gonna read the article but no shot anyone gets higher wages. 100% chance every town hall at each major company starts out with “Just to get it out of the way, compensation will be low this year”

I’ll bet those higher wages will be in the form of stock options and benefit packages for the “workers” in and around the C-suite, not the shop floor.

I'm a revenue mgt analyst for large privately held co. I see the financials; they don't correspond to our increases. Salaried employees work 50+ hours wk bc of a hiring freeze while monies go to innovation, marketing with no measureable ROI.

LOL, only if you think corporations are going to value their works more than rewarding CEOs and shareholders. Sorry, but tax cuts for the rich don't trickle down. Not to mention working Americans will see their taxes AND insurance premiums increase. #GOPTaxScam

I call Bulls!@%, corporations have been making money for a few years now. Unemployment has been under 7% for a while and they have not raised wages and they won't now. The GOP should have raised the minimum wage to a living wage, $12 to $15/hrs. with the "Tax Reform.
