Of course he is, they have to pay for this tax cut somehow and why not pick on the poor and powerless. This administration is a disgrace.

Come to Florida and you will see EBT cards coming out of Coach purses buying bakery cakes, shrimp platters, and steaks (things a school teacher couldn't afford). They have $200 nails and $400 weaves. This is so common--there will be a line of baby-mamas at Wal Mart.

That may be your relatives but most Americans don't misuse it... You just perpetrating a stereotype... An old one...

I'm telling you what I and everyone else sees every time we go to damn Publix or Wal Mart. You have no idea what you are talking about. Abuse is rampant and widespread. The "stereotype" is just the opposite --that most are honestly in need. Most are gaming the system.

I know 80- people right now that if they were just cut off today--they'd get off their lazy asses and just get a job. And they sure as hell wouldn't even THINK of having another kid.

Why do I suspect that you grew up on food stamps... You seem to know a lot of people on welfare...

I live in Fort Pierce, FL. I did not grow up on stamps, but I know plenty who did. Good luck finding anyone on Avenue D who is not subsidized by the government and has been for decades, if they're old enough. Welfare holds people back- creates dependence.

Welfare should be reformed lots of folks on it that shouldn't be. After that they are gonna rape Social Security and medicare which is wrong because we pay for that with every paycheck.
