Monopoly was my first thought. Use CVS or be “out of network” was the next thought.

If/when CVS Aetna merger occurs. Their big conundrum will be: Do we deny? Or do we overcharge? #HealthcareHijacked again. Patients & physicians, as usual, will lose on this one.

Both companies focus more on profit rather than patient care. It’s evident in their customer service, pricing, underwriting, claim processing reimbursement, prior auths, carve outs. This merger will force pts to use Caremark

More unjust price increses will result, so trump will like it. As well as GOP !

Explain precisely why lower their costs would obviously raise rates? Like use actual facts. I'd be interested to understand the truth.

Perhaps if there isn’t such a disconnect between the insurance provider and the pharmacy, there will be lower cost of meds

Ok, now you're sounding like the GOP defending their tax plan -- grasping at wishful hypotheticals against all empirical evidence about how markets actually work.

As far as i know, this type of merger had never happened. Im simply stating, objectively, that maybe this could bring cost down.
