There are two bitcoins: BTC (bitcoin core) is supposed to be a store of value and BCH (bitcoin cash) is for payment and aims to be the world currency.

You would have to be the world’s greatest moron to use this currency when it goes up by 4% a day. Which further compounds the difference between buyers and sellers.
-
But what about my chococino monster latte with cranberry syrup topping? I want to waste my most profitable asset for it...
-
Please tell
@rogerkver that. He's trying to design a currency that uses the opposite laws of game theory. You need to reach market saturation first, then you can worry about the transaction layer.

The real story is Bitcoin Cash here! Legacy bitcoin failed tremendously to be a P2P currency, it become a speculative assets happening on centralized exchanges! No real or significant use beyond that! -> http://BitcoinCash.org pic.twitter.com/I8SC8dZDzl

No one uses gold to buy things either. Whoever wrote this clearly has no idea what Bitcoin is.

What can you spend your gold and silver bars on? i tried to chip some off at the grocery store today and they wouldn't take. Yet its has a 7 trillion $ market cap.
#bitcoin is a digital gold, a store of value and a permissionless value transfer system. - 1 more reply

Its like gold. If you want to spend normally, you trade some of your gold for fiat then... pay your rent that month
-
well it is not supposed to be working like that.. that is why we got
#BitcoinCash doing the proper job -
BCash competes with Litecoin/Dash for faster/cheaper on-chain transactions. Bitcoin is the most secure and decentralized chain - with no competition.
-
You used a lot less than 280 to twit this. Why not use to explain why you think "I am confused". Am I wrong that Litecoin and Dash also do faster/cheaper transactions? Dash can instantly confirm with master nodes. How can you compete with these?
-
You are confuse, and I repeat because Bcash has not launched yet. If you meant
@BITCOlNCASH, it doesn't compete with Litecoin for sure, maybe with Dash but I think is clear that the race is between Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin segwit. -
I prefer BCash name for Bitcoin Cash. BCash compromised on decentralization to subsidize fees at the expense of the full node maintainers. However, LTC/Dash already provide cheaper/faster transactions. So, the only real reason is to continue the ASICS Boost.
-
There is a market of $25,854,795,011 with BitcoinCash, your preference won't change the name.
