        So small town students used to just be passed over by "elite" colleges. That description sounds like a form of discrimination against small town students. If a true description then its a fact "elite colleges" didnt give small town kids a fair shake. Where is that story @WSJ ?

        Having lived in small town #Ojai CA complete with its share of white supremacists and swaztikis NOT TO MENTION Confederate Flags and guns guns guns. . .elite colleges better be careful what they wish for

        Repubs want to these kids to stay uneducated and ultra-conservative. It works for their agenda. Hoping that making more openings for rural kids will help them see the world more broadly than their limited view from their couches and pews.
