Finding a replacement who is male, popular, and is in every sense an "unoffender" will be a daunting task. Good luck with that, @NBCNews

Oh bullshit! Everyone is replaceable. Just hire someone new and maybe double check he’s not a douchebag first.

NBC was around long before Matt. It will be around long after. Maybe now, the Today Show can concentrate on getting back to the number one spot in morning programming.

Cemeteries are filled with previously indispensable people. Lauer can take his multi-million $$ parting gift and become a noontime regular at a bar in the Hamptons.

In crisis? Really? Many of us are glad to see him gone. Maybe I will give the Today Show another try now. I think there are plenty of others who will join me. If he was the key to the show’s success, I am glad the key has been lost.
