The GOP plan to repeal state and local tax deductions would hit people in states that already are the biggest net contributors to federal spendinghttp://on.wsj.com/2AjnnMS

Level the playing field, hold state politicians accountable, repeal deductibility of all state taxes, it’s not broad based to all Americans

SALT takes into account cost of living differences between the states. a 1,000 ft home in New York City vs same size home in Nebraska do not cost the same. the income required to live in each state differs as well. No SALT, then my taxable income in NJ should be equalized to AR.

What is cost to live in individual states and the benefits they enjoy are not federal issues and need to be managed at the state Level

fine, then equalize my income as well. You want to tax my higher income that pays for my higher cost of living but without recognizing my higher cost of living. my state pays other deadbeat states' bills.
