Let me ask you a simple question, who do you trust with your money: Trump or Math? Now imagine if you live in another country where it's worse than Trump. It's time to separate money and state, just like the church and state we're separated hundreds of years ago. #Bitcoin

So corruption & the value of money they make aren't related? You take away their power (to print money) and they have less influence over their citizens. So simple a 7 year old can get it! Have you or anyone you know had their whole families wealth stripped by a corrupt govt?

Bitcoin is digital gold, an asset that cannot be taken by a corrupt government. Do you understand why that would be valuable to people 🤔

cept for tulips are literally plants they grow out of the ground and Bitcoin is a global decentralized ledger & payment network that uses strong encryption and finite supply. This is not a bubble. #bitcoin

I don't get it. the price of a bitcoin determines how 'mainstream' it is? not the fact that it cannot be used by non IT persons cause too complex, or people constantly getting scammed out of coins etc.

By the time it's easy for your grandma to use, it will be too late to profit. If your under 35 there is no excuse to not know how to get your first piece of Bitcoin

Okay but again, why does a high price make it mainstream? And is't the point of bitcoin a non governmental controlled currency and not to make a quick $$?

High Price: Articles on mainstream news outlets, mainstream TV show like The Big Bang, Super Bowl commercials etc. @naval says it best "Bitcoin is a tool for freeing humanity from oligarchs and tyrants, dressed up as a get-rich-quick scheme."

Bitcoin will not change human nature. As long as there are scarce resources there will be oligarchs, tyrants and dictators. It's silly to think something as silly as some computer code will change hundreds of thousands of human behavioural evolution.

It's changing the way humans are organizing, similar to how corporations, religions and tribes altered the course of civilization.
