What happened to the three strikes your out law? Corporations have rights like people according to law therefore as the corporation in charge of it all should face the same penalty too. Lock them up and close it down before they steal again.

Totally agree. I'm not sure anyone can effectively control corporations this size and if someone thinks they are up to the challenge, they should be forced to face both the risk and rewards.

I am so glad I live in Canada where we have strict banking rules. Anyone connected to bank fraud is prosecuted here.

You are lucky! I feel like the banking industry should be dull and boring - not where you go to strike it rich!

Actually our banks are making record profits so they are still out to get rich but it also gives us more money for investments to.

Yes, that is a good point. Should have said banks shouldn't be a high risk venture. No problem with them being profitable, just do it without being risky.

But yes, let's get rid of the CFPB because the banks aren't doing well enough and can always be trusted to make the right decision on behalf of the client. #NOTNORMAL

Can companies this large really be effectively managed? Until the top echelon and BoD of these companies face real consequences for the actions of their companies I fear little will ever change.

Lather, rinse, repeat. At this point, I can't understand how anyone would conduct business with these crooks. But until they're all locked up (Ha, right!) it's hard to say you didn't know when you inevitably get ripped off.

This is what trump "administration' is fighting so hard to protect. Big ballers in all industries against, who else, of course mom and pop shops and all the working stiffs.
