Trump is not above the law. He must go through existing channels to name a new CFPB Director #TrumpsATraitor

Mulvaney is the Fox watching the Hen House, waiting to scoop up ALL THAT CASH from scrupulous deals against Good People! Like Trump said during 2007 when there were so many foreclosures, Umm more money for him to take advantage of ALL those people! NO one cares about the people!

Trump's first choice for CFPB director was Bernie Madoff, but he respectfully declined.

The @CFPB structure never was, and has never been, constitutionally sound. This joke makes that ever clearer - in addition to its repeated oversteps of authority (auto loans, arbitration, etc.) Agency needs to be fundamentally restructured as a commission (like SEC) or eliminated

Another act of cluster fornication in DC. So much for draining the swamp; building a sewer instead.

It's amazing. Obama and the lefties created these fiefdoms of bureaucracies. They basically answer to no one.

To our understanding, the authorizing legislation states that the procedure to be used is the one that was used by Richard Cordray upon resigning from the Bureau. If Trump and his thuggees don't like that, well, tough noogies. The law is the law. Stand and deliver, Donald.
