Setting up replacing pathologists as a goal is unnecessary and costly. Unnecessary as even incremental improvements lead to real good in the world, and real costs because when it doesn't meet said goal, good work gets tossed out (cf google flu trends). ht: @jasonafries

ML in this space (ours included!) is far from perfect: attacks wrong problem, measures incorrectly, etc. But it's research, goal is to learn from mistakes, get it right eventually, and contribute to the world's knowledge. Should also say
