Dismantling Obama-era open-internet rules would create a range of opportunities for internet providers such as Verizon, Comcast, Charter and AT&Thttp://on.wsj.com/2hL27at

None of these "opportunities" will benefit the consumer.

Disgusting how the @WSJ makes something so negative for everyone sound like a positive thing. U know it will be bad for most other businesses. It's bad for consumers. The few companies benefiting aren't running the whole economy. Why wouldn't you take a clear stance against this?

This opens the door for big money to control what options people have, to control the media! It's a totalitarian move encouraged by Trump!

Internet did not become free during the Obama era. That’s simply last time these major players attempted to control and profiteer Internet. The Internet has a higher purpose than profit. To destroy that promise for dollar bills, is criminal. This issue is MONEY vs PEOPLE.

I thought America was about freedom. In China they sensor to maintain state control but this will ensure the corporations will have the power to put profits over freedom

Yeah, just like ending environmental regs would create a range of opportunities for chemical companies to destroy land and contaminate water with toxic runoff.
