Tesla now has one that will do 0-60 in 1.9 seconds. It's cheaper, quieter, and more versatile. You can drive grandma to church without her suffering a broken back or encountering severe hearing loss.

Zero to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds is a recipe for whiplash and accidents, growing traffic congestion notwithstanding.
