Workplace bullying needs to be addressed just as sexual harassment, it’s detrimental to the victim and affects their productivity and quality of life

By law corporations are sociopaths, mandated to return profit to investor regardless of environmental or social cost. Logical the most "successful" corporations have "successful" CEOs who are socio or psychopaths.

What a shocker! Multiple studies have shown there is a much higher % of sociopaths in CEO positions (4x general population). Logical, since sociopaths know right vs wrong, but don’t care...that’s how they got to the top. Also logical that sociopath = nightmare boss.

Bullies more difficult to kick out of company than predators. More ingrained in some corp cultures, hard to prove damage, many at top job.

it sucks when you work for a small company and this happens to you on a daily basis. Customers tell me I don’t think I can come back here anymore. We’re losing business and the owners don’t seem to understand why. I’m on antidepressants now.

If HR did their jobs instead of pandering to the ceos and managers. This wouldn’t happen. But hits all about results. Right?

Pandering to CEOs is their job. Find excuses to fire whoever management wants fired.

When Hr was invented in the Post-MadMen era, they were there to prevent lawsuits against employers. Never to help the employee.

It takes gutsy colleagues to all stand up and say stop, but when they do, all together, all at once, bullies shrink like violets and back the hell off.

Problem is that mos told us need the job. Need the paycheck. I did the stand up thing once thinking my colleague would too. Then he didn’t. I got fired and he stayed back.
