Isn't this exactly the type of incident that people were protesting?

That's 210,000 gallons of oil spilled on sacred Native American lands. THIS is why a bunch of people protested the construction of Keystone XL ... because there is no such thing as a "safe" pipeline. #ProtectOurFuture #SustainableEnergySolutionsNOW

Listen I hate Trump as much as the next sane human being but how is this his fault. Pipelines have been leaking for a long time, a little research will show the magnitude of the problem.

It's not like he approved the pipeline despite massive protests, right?

And your point? Are you saying no pipelines leaked before Trump. C'mon. Blame the owners of these things.

I"m not saying that at all. If the owners are making faulty products and Trump doubles down on said faulty products, why would he be blameless?

Well I guess then all presidents who have been in power and approved pipelines are to blame. Not sure I agree, research shows there have been hundreds of leaks over the years.

NONE of this is Trumps fault. He was not in office when this pipeline was approved and built. There has yet to be legislation approved for the XL.

No president is at fault for pipeline leaks. Blame the real culprits, big oil and these pipeline companies. Trump did push this forward tho.

Well I guess if you want to go that route, it's the gluttonous oil consumers who are to blame. And though Trump is Pro XL, this was before his presidency.
