Bosses who scream and belittle workers can reduce productivity and scare away customers. Companies are struggling to weed out these bullies.http://on.wsj.com/2z3ZBHo

"To belittle is to be little" - my intro to team based management classes. I am always shocked that old 1970's (poor) management behavior still exists. Why would it be a struggle? Where's that value statement - our employees are our biggest assets? sad. @P4HR

wHAT! No yelling? They wouldn't make it 3 ft in the military. Teach them to "paint the rocks". It's medicinal.

Toxic work environment. I’ve seen it. No fun for workers and trickles to customers.

Even bosses have bosses. This is a failure in leadership from those in higher positions of authority within business. The commercial sector needs to recognize the difference between managers and leaders. Leaders do not tolerate abuses within their organizations, of any kind.

If the boss is higher up on the pecking order, he or she can get away with as much screaming and belittling of subordinates as the company will tolerate. Results speak—or shout—for themselves. Try speaking in an assertive tone if you’re a woman or a minority in a mgmt role!pic.twitter.com/TyGNKBuuPw

It is sad if the customers/clients can hear the yelling even with closed doors.

I yell at my employees all the time, gotta keep those cows in line. The only way to be a great boss is to bully your employees daily and wear fine suites by Hugo Boss.

Wow, barely 11 in new york, and we have a strong contender for most stupidly obvious headline of the day. But seriously, let’s get this business genius a promotion. Maybe an award.
