The house actually got something right. If you want to build your home on a flood plain, I shouldn't have to accept a percentage of your risk

Smart- we the people not fortunate enough to live or have a second home near the water should not have to continue to bail out those who do.

I was under the impression that homeowners must carry flood insurance if they are in a flood zone by FEMA. Am I wrong?

NOT the developers who keep building homes in flood plains? Lemme get this straight. Person A person buys a house and doesn't have access to geographic surveys that the developer did. Person A now stuck with a house that floods. Can't sell because of the flood zone. NOT RIGHT.

I don’t really think people should be penalized but they shouldn’t receive gov’t aid, either. If you’re irresponsible enough to live in an area prone to flooding without a financial plan for when your home is inevitably destroyed, that’s your own damn problem. Not anybody else’s.

As global warming gets worse this will affect more and more people, flood zones will increase and expand, so @realDonaldTrump doesn’t support climate change or programs to slow its progress but he has no issue punishing the American Citizens affected by it
