Americans' desire for active shooter training reflects an acceptance they may face a shooting in their lifetimehttp://on.wsj.com/2yOwhEF

The insanity of having to deal with a society so full of guns and gun worshipers is now considered normal ???? This lunacy has to stop. You have a ballot - use it to choose a society without this menace to life and humanity

Not just military and law enforcement...more people should get concealed carry. In these situations, everyone (even those screaming for gun control) would LOVE to have a good person with a gun present to take down the shooter. I know I would. Good guys outnumber bad.

I think everyone should participate in arms safety training. Whether they have a gun or not. Kind of like taking a self help course.

Basically. If you're enjoying the right to bear arms, you might as well form yourself on how to properly use it. Can't just wave that right around without some truly responsible application of it. How does the saying go? I believe in gun-control: deep breath and locked shoulders?

“acceptance”? Odd word choice for facing a harsh reality. Americans must accept that Americans are fucking crazy and @WSJ has an agenda to pot stir

Training's good but what's needed is heavier rebuke from politicians+MSM that it's "not" OK to express differences or perceived injustice using violence or terror tactics unfortunately many of the above don't agree with that basic moral premise @TuckerCarlson @MZHemingway @nypost

Look at the numbers. They would be much better of taking a defensive driving course, getting a checkup, and eating right.

Just like in 1962 when we children were taught to duck under our desks to avoid nuclear fallout. This problem should a bit easier to solve than the Cuban Missle Crisis don'tcha think? #Resist
