This is what happens @GOP when you stall on promises. People are going to think the terrible ACA is better than guesswork from GOP. Fix it!

I think it's less about loving the ACA per se, and more that people just don't see the GOP offering alternative healthcare reforms.

Hate to break it to the CBO, but premiums are already rising >10% in places. Whether or not ACA is repealed, ppl will lose ins due to higher premiums.
-
And it rose 70% last year. It’s ridiculous.
-
I haven't been able to afford health insurance since ACA passed. As a result, I have none.
-
It’s gotta change bc it’s killing middle class incomes. I want them to open insurance across state lines and offer more plans.

Add in tort reform.

Wrong. Repeal is now easier because it will help Americans feel free.

They tried for 8 years. They’ll keep trying. What’s it called when you do the same thing over and over expecting different results? 2018 can’t get here soon enough.

Entitlements are like drugs. It is hard for addicts to get of tax payer funded programs. Nobody cares that these programs have put us into trillions of debt. At some point the system will crash. The golden generation should be renamed the entitlement generation.
-
Agreed. So let’s reform the ACA, streamline existing entitlements. However, that won’t make a dent until you tackle defense spending, which is a political third-rail.
-
If you have learnt anything from gov run programs like Medicare, is not create more gov run programs. Medical insurance should be an individual's responsibility, not tax payers. Of course need drastic reduction in all gov spending including the military.
