First they're not buying homes, now they're buying homes... Who do these millennials think they are?!?!

Next thing you know they'll be creating retirement accounts, buying a 2nd car, and putting a pool in. WTF has this world come to?

A home at $250000 3.07% 30 years is $1047.00. A one bedroom rented now is $1400 depends on where.

I agree with the concept of owning a home, however, also take into account insurance, HOA fees, lawn care cost & there will definitely be maintenance cost. Please take everything into account before buying.

True, but when you rent, $1400 vanishes. On a 1047 mortage you lose less in fees, insur, repair, AND you build equity. Better than rent.

Your right, as long as you can handle all that goes with home ownership. We are homeowners, however for our daughter, who is a single mother, it proved to be too much. Easier to rent so maintenance is done by apt owners. Maybe someday.

Your right its situationally dependent. If you can, owning always better then renting.
