Massachusetts thinks more late-afternoon sunshine would do it a lot of good, so it's considering a time-zone shifthttp://on.wsj.com/2gAwXBG

Does this mean Red Sox-Yankees games will take 6 hours instead of 5?

It's a one hour difference. We have short days in the winter. Whether it gets dark at 4 or 5 doesn't really matter.

Yes it does you literally just said it. An hour difference of daylight in the afternoon would he great. Plus no adjusting to time.

This is not a bad idea - worst feeling was living in Boston and it being dark at 3:50PM in Dec. Has negative economic impacts as well.

Been an advocate of this for a while. If Mass goes, NH, ME, & RI. Have legislation to go too. Odds are long but it should be done.

I grew up in #MA and would leave home and get home after school under nightfall. It was teribble and unbearably cold!
