        Trumka is a former UMWA leader. He should be more open to Trump given Trump’s attempts to rebuild the coal industry.

        Depends on the issues. UMWA has always worked w/ both sides. Retiree HC was formed under Truman, amendments signed by Bush 1.0, 2.0 & Trump

        Environmental issues are a mixed bag. EPA former under Nixon. Ford worked on 77 amendments. Bush passed 90’amendments - UMWA opposed them.

        Bush 2.0 started what became Obama’s MATS rule,court remanded it back to epa. UMWA didn’t agree with how Obama’s EPA wrote MATS, NSPA or CPP
