Why not have strong legal standards? California also allows non law school graduates to take their exam.

Make the exam easier? Do they need more attorneys in CA?

No! This is so illegals & immigrants who were lawyers in their own countries can pass the Bar w/o Law degree from US college. Bad idea!!

Already allows people to take exam who never attended Law School which means they have missed vital fundamentals. Another bad idea.

If they didn’t attend law school, apprenticeship with judge or practicing attorney is required. Other states allow this as well.

Makes sense...Here in CA u can get 70/100 on DMV "behind the wheel" 5 minute eval and still earn a license. They took off parallel parking, U-Turns, going on the freeway, and 3 pt turns cuz too many ppl were failing.

The prep class I took hammered home that the Cal exam is about largely about following instructions and endurance (3 days).
