Oh please. Realtors are not the ones getting rich and pressing people. Try looking at banks and mortgage companies.

Literally every other biz model went through Internet disruption in 90s. Realtors are still skimming 6% off every sale. Heckuva lobbying job

It's purely self-interest with realtors, and must be resisted.

Dude you're a physician lol. Short of attorneys and politicians you are the greediest and most self interested profession around. Patient: *cough, sneeze* Dr: you have the flu. That'll be $200

There may be some small truth to that, but I was once approached by an emissary from the county medical board to ask me to raise my fees, as patients were asking other doctors why they had to pay more than Dr. Mick charged. But in general, the profit margin for...

...physicians is not as much as you suppose. There are considerable costs to running a business. Most crazy lefties think everything is profit and do not consider costs of doing business.

Staff pay, building rent or mortgage, and malpractice insurance costs eat up a lot of that payment the patient makes. Another factor that encourages high fees is Medicare and pre-paid health plans, euphemistically called "insurance." The same happens with college tuition!...

...The more government meddles in college costs, subsidizes payments, and imposes onerous requirements, the more fees rise. Government is usually the problem, seldom the solution.

Not sure how this became a debate on governments impact on the healthcare industry. You made a broad generalization negatively framing every individual of a particular profession as self interested. My point was I could do the same regarding your profession.

Duh! Because you went that direction! I am merely opposing using government to subsidize and for social engineering. It is difficult to discern your point.

If this is your argument, @nardotrealtor you need a better argument. People do not require the tax deduction to buy into the American dream.

The Wall Street Urinal at it again. Probably talked to a few overpaid, ignorant realtors (most are not that bright). NONSENSE in PRINT
