How sad. High achievers are overlooked to make others feel good?

🚩Academics are still being dumbed down & set so low that all "pass" & "feel good"-This is true in many areas & Illegals are 1 reason why.

The process of dumbing down has been ongoing for decades, if not an entire century or more.https://www.amazon.com/Deliberate-Dumbing-America-Revised-Abridged/dp/0966707117 …

It's not just America it's here in Canada as well. Everyone gets a trophy. School is worse. All you have to do is show up a few days a week and you'll pass. No-one in my kids classes ever failed. Univ is a shocking experience. No wonder the drop out rate for 1st year is so high.

That's silly. Competition makes us all work harder. It also makes people respect the nerd instead of just the football players.

Over-protection of our children continues. It's a continuation of "everyone gets a ribbon". Kids need to learn how to win & face adversity.

A continuation of modern society's effort to "bring everyone down to the same level", instead of helping elevate those who need it.
