        Because it's not protected by the constitution. Hate speech is incitement 1 and 2 read the 9th amendment

        Not all hate speech is protected; when you use speech to infringe on others rights it’s not an absolute right.

        Canada has free speech. We can argue facts to determine fiction without hate involved. Fact racism exists here too but not tolerated.

        2 diffferent things: a) Declaring you hate X. b) Declaring that those who hate X should attack, harass, injure, kill X. "a)" is hate speech
