Studying is more effective when it’s done in 45-minute segments instead of longer ones http://on.wsj.com/2xUtc1y

I would do this. I would bang out a good 45 in early September, and then pick up where I left off right after Thanksgiving. #college

🤔🤔🤔 questionable to me, from someone that has to study! I personally believe it depends on the individuals brain. We are all different!

Brains need oxygenation and physical activity does that. Sitting with a book doesn't. 45 minute stretch breaks are brain science in action

It may not be suitable for everyone. 45mins maybe a bit short for me to be fully devoted to studying.

45minutes is too short for me.Studying duration is different for every individual. It depends on your brain. I could study up to 5-6 hours.

Did this my last two years of uni. Way less stressful than forcing myself to read for hours straight. Grades improved a lot.

I actually suggest this to my students: To divide their study time at home into 45-min. blocks, with 15 min. of break in between. It helps.

It does helps but after a while it gets way too monotonous and boring. Or maybe i have ADD? 🤷‍♀️

Depends on the student. Some need that kind of formal homework structure; others don't. Ultimately you have to find what works best for YOU.
