Nope bc I use my phones for at least 2-3 years. By then I am 2-3 gens behind and that is just fine with me.

These things function as way more than just a phone to most people. The "phone" function is secondary.

Yes but a tablet or laptop which provide even more albeit at a bigger size are a smarter choice if needed. Impulse control is free.
