Really? Unless these guys have carried a child for nine months, endured child birth & are nursing a new born, two weeks is enough.

I think new fathers should get paid leave. But to say that being a new father is medically the same as being a new mother is inaccurate.

Exactly. They have not grown a human for 9 months, painfully labored to birth it, and don't need time off to feed it 24/7 and try to rest.

Yeah, my understanding of maternity leave (paid or otherwise) was it's because of the medical ramifications. Males dont face any of those...

Not just that labor is hard and mom needs to recuperate, but also because traditionally mom has to feed the baby, which is exhausting.

Referring 2 breast feeding, yea if moms choose 2 do so then accommodations should b made. As a male I cant speak 2 the difficulty of doin so

It's not that it's hard for most, but it is extremely exhausting, draining on the body besides fact have to wake up several times a night.

Physically draining must be considered, but waking up several times a night kinda comes with the territory, 4 guys & gals. Parenting's tough

Yes, but the guys don't have to provide the milk from their breasts which means they can stay asleep.

No they shouldn't. Because fathers are completely undervalued in our soxciety. We put shitbag mom's before great dads.
