Insurance companies are second income for law makers. If it doesn't cover all accidents it shouldn't be enforced by law.

As an insurance adjuster, most policies contain exclusions in flood damage. You have to have separate flood coverage from the NFIP.

Like insurance companies always do....collect premiums and deny claims. The U.S. taxpayers will be footing the bill.

Of course. Insurance companies lure people in with grand promises, technical verbiage, and fine print. You need a lawyer to pick thru that.

Not that complicated. Homeowners policies don't cover "flood". Get some one to read it for you. Ignorance is no excuse.

The thing is that flood coverage isn'tjust a yes or no question, but typically has stipulations to what is actually covered. That's my issue
