        Stop making stuff up. Every school requires history curriculum. Its purpose isn't to "invest" in Civil War symbols.

        I agree, however trying to delete history is also deleted the lessons that should be taught how evil exists.

        As a "Millennial" (unfortunately) I find this horrifying. When I stood at Fort Sumpter& learned about the Civil War I got a new perspective.

        I stood there and learned about the real confederate flag, which this is not, and why they fought and as a Northerner, it made me think.

        Appreciating history and celebrating hate are two different things . We can easily do one without the other . Remove all statues/flags.
