As it should be. Want a sex change? Get leave and go spend your own money for surgery and hormone therapy. Not taxpayer responsibility.

So..you also believe that Viagra and antidepressants along with mental health care shouldn't be paid for by military as well?
-
How does that relate to sex change surgery? Very different topics.
-
Well it was about taxpayer money...look at the military budget. That little blue pill, military spends $41.6 M/yr-for operations $2.4-$8.5M/yr
-
Viagara: different topic.
-
Yeah, because it's something you're works *you personally* need. Gender-affirming surgery isn't elective, it's life-saving.
-
Actually, it is voluntary and that is OK, just not someone else's responsibility to pay for.
-
No, it is seen as a procedure with hugely positive outcomes for its patients. Are you unfamiliar with how medicine works?

This, my friends, is seriously fucked up! And if America lets it stand we're going to be a pariah nation.https://twitter.com/WSJ/status/900518043327090688 …

This is only the beginning of bullshit that trump & his gang of malcontents is cooking up. Hatred is the only card they have left to play.

Interesting how supposedly fiscal conservatives are concerned about the miniscule costs of transgender surgery costs, YET, have no problem
-
with the millions and much larger portion of funds spent on Viagra. Right wing hypocrisy at it's finest. Or is it not about the costs and
-
just the fact most of you are bigots? Regardless, either way, your bs arguments are just that...BS. They are not based on facts.

Nauseating, discriminatory, violation of civil rights, prejudiced, unacceptable: Trump. We must resist this vile policy.

Horrible way to treat those serving our country.
-
I'm not disagreeing w/u, but we don't exactly have a great history of dealing w/long-lasting medical issues in the military, let alone this.

I have no problem with transgenders serving in the military. I do have a problem with taxpayer dollars being used for sex change surgeries.
-
Not sure how I think about it. Where do we draw the line for physical and mental treatment?
-
You DON'T draw the line. That's basically the point.
-
The thought of it is absurb.
-
Agreed
