        Nice slant @WSJ, but the probs @ Sea World San Diego (@SeaWorld) are very much linked to economics (price hikes, parking, etc.), not Orcas.

        Orcas are not made to be in captivity. It affects their aggression, appetites, family dynamics and can take physical tolls as well.

        I have educated myself, thank you. Orcas have been proven to live much, much longer in the wild and show less signs of stress as well.

        I just looked it up... between the entrance fee for one and parking, it is nearly $100. Two people can go on a whale watch for that amount..

        Don't think it's the orcas I think people are just not revisiting amusement parks and places as much as they used to. So unaffordable
