Arbitration is good for consumers because it's affordable. No attorney needed in arbitration. It can offer better, more affordable justice

But forced arbitration is used to hide corporate accountability for potential wrongdoing. Only saves corps $ & legal exposure, not consumers

True. There will always be corruption and greed but arbitration tries to offer better options and often is more fair for all parties.

Forced arbitration is not an "option" by its very nature. There is no justice, when needed, in that situation. Corporation always wins here

Large corporations win - yes. Small companies lose.

You're conveniently ignoring the fact that my issue is with "forced" arbitration, not arbitration itself. Plz read.https://nyti.ms/1kkstih

It's not small but large companies who abuse this system. To think a GOP person would be upset at losing a RIGHT to "their day in court"

GOP wants to aid corporations' efforts to deny consumers any effective relief for fraud. "Republican Turncoats" want to protect consumers.

It also effectively bans class-action lawsuits against banks committing fraud. That protects only banks and gives green light to cont.

Nothing says fairness & justice like taking away Americans day in court. No rules/rights matter if you can't access court to get a remedy.

As usual, Republicans fight due to at least some of them really not caring if citizens get ripped off and have no real recourse!
